Academy Squads

Academies have become an integral part of the pathway to elite performance for Gaa players. Academies have nurtured and developed young talent throughout the recent past. However like all great ideas, the concept of academy squads has developed and changed throughout its existence. These academies have changed from being driven mainly by competition to their current existence of being driven by player development. It is a credit to all involved in developing this player centred approach to the development of the stars of the future.

The vision for coaching academies is to “Provide Talented Players with the Opportunity to Train and Compete at a higher level”.
