O'Neills.com Leinster GAA Coaching Conference 2014

(26 Jan 2014)

The O’Neill’s Leinster GAA Coaching Conference 2014, Prepare to Succeed – Conditioning the Mind and Body for the Season Aheadwill take place on Saturday 1st February at IT Carlow from 10am – 3.30pm.

The popularity of this now annual conference was highlighted in 2013 when over 300 coaches were present. This year conference is targeted at football and hurling coaches working with players in their late teens and adults. The content of conference will be very applicable and specific to meet the needs of the modern coach involved in all codes and we would be hopeful of attracting coaches from both Ladies Football and Camogie.

The focus of the conference will be on helping coaches to think about preparing their players to perform for the season ahead from a technical, physical and mental perspective. Coaching is a constant learning process and the timing, content and knowledge imparted by the experienced presenters is an opportunity not to be missed. The content of the conference is intended to be thought provoking and designed to create greater awareness among coaches as to what are the latest and best approaches to preparing teams.

Areas to be covered will include:

·         Pre-Season Physical Preparation – Applying Science to Practice
